Safety & side effects

Common effects include nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, vomiting, and constipation, usually easing over time. Mounjaro® carries a boxed warning regarding the risk of thyroid C-cell tumors; do not use with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2.
