Vitamin D3 5,000 IU · Vitamin K2 (MK-7) 100 mcg · Calcium 210 mg · One capsule a day

Vitamin D gets calcium in. Vitamin K2 helps send it where it belongs.

Most of us spend the winter indoors, at a desk, with the sun on the other side of a window. Vitamin D is how your body absorbs calcium from food. Vitamin K2 switches on the proteins that help put that calcium to work in bone and keep it in its lane. This is both, in one capsule a day, with every amount on the label and one honest note about the dose that most brands leave out.

  • Vitamin D3 supports calcium absorption, normal bone health and normal immune function
  • Vitamin K2 as MK-7 activates the proteins that help direct calcium to bone and support cardiovascular health
  • 5,000 IU D3, 100 mcg K2 and 210 mg calcium per capsule, every amount printed, no proprietary blend
  • One capsule a day with a meal, so one bottle lasts 60 days
  • Backed for 60 days: finish the bottle and still get every dollar back

The K2 trials used 180 mcg of MK-7 on its own; this capsule has 100 mcg alongside vitamin D3 and calcium. Research figures describe vitamin D status and vitamin K2 on its own, not this formula. No trial of this formula has been run. Individual results vary.

Step one: the problem

Winter indoors, a desk all day, and no idea what your body is actually getting.

You leave for work in the dark and get home in the dark. Lunch is at your desk. The sun you do see comes through a window, and your skin does not make vitamin D from sunlight through glass.

And if you are a woman past 45, you have probably started thinking about your bones in a way you never did at 30. The bone density scan your doctor mentioned that you have not booked yet. The stairs you want to still be taking two at a time at 70.

Maybe you already take vitamin D. Maybe you saw someone on TikTok say you should never take D3 without K2, and wondered whether they were right.

Here is the part that gets lost: absorbing calcium is only half the job. The other half is where it goes.

If nothing changes, it is another winter of guessing. You deserve a routine based on your actual number, not a trend.

MedicLab D3 + K2 Bone & Heart Support: the everyday problem it is for

Why it keeps happening

Vitamin D opens the door for calcium. Vitamin K2 helps decide where it goes.

Your gut does not absorb much calcium on its own. Vitamin D is the signal that turns absorption up, which is why it matters so much for bone. Your skin makes it from sunlight, but not through a window, less with sunscreen, and less as you get older.

Absorbing calcium is step one. Step two is putting it to work, and that is where vitamin K2 comes in. Your body uses vitamin K to switch on a family of proteins. Two matter here: osteocalcin, made by bone-building cells, which helps bind calcium into bone, and matrix Gla protein (MGP), found in blood vessel walls, which is thought to help regulate where calcium settles in soft tissue. Researchers are still mapping its full role.

Without enough vitamin K, those proteins stay in an inactive form. In one three-year trial, MK-7 lowered the inactive form of MGP by about half compared with placebo.

That is the gap a D-only routine leaves open: plenty of calcium coming in, and less of the machinery that helps tell it where to go.

MedicLab D3 + K2 Bone & Heart Support: how it works

The solution

Vitamin D3, vitamin K2 and a little calcium. One capsule a day.

Not a megadose of one nutrient. The two that work as a pair, with a modest amount of the mineral they both deal with.

The door

Vitamin D3, 5,000 IU

Cholecalciferol, the same form your skin makes from sunlight. It supports calcium absorption, normal bone health and normal immune function. It is also a strong dose, above the general upper limit, which is why we ask you to know your level first.

The direction

Vitamin K2 as MK-7, 100 mcg

Menaquinone-7, the form of K2 used in the three-year trials. It activates osteocalcin and MGP, the proteins that help put calcium where it belongs.

The routine

One capsule with a meal

Vitamins D and K are fat-soluble, so breakfast or lunch with a little fat is ideal. Each capsule also carries 210 mg of calcium and a little black pepper extract. One a day, and a bottle lasts 60 days.

Start my D3 + K260-day empty-bottle guarantee. Ships from the USA in a plain box.

The formula

Four ingredients. Every amount on the label. One honest note about the dose.

A lot of D3 and K2 products bury the K2 amount or never say which form it is. This one names MK-7 and prints every amount per capsule.

The honest note: 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 is above the 4,000 IU a day that US health authorities set as the upper limit for adults from all sources combined. Higher amounts are used under a doctor's care, which is exactly why our directions are one capsule a day, never more, and why we ask you to get your vitamin D level checked and talk to your doctor before you start, especially if you already take vitamin D in a multivitamin or another supplement.

  • Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), 125 mcg (5,000 IU) per capsule
  • Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7), 100 mcg per capsule
  • Calcium (as calcium carbonate), 210 mg per capsule
  • Black pepper fruit extract (BioPerine), 5 mg per capsule
  • Microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose capsule
  • Manufactured in the USA
MedicLab D3 + K2 Bone & Heart Support: what is inside

Why other approaches fall short

What people try instead, and the half of the job it misses

Every one of these goes after getting calcium or vitamin D in. None of them deals with where the calcium goes.

MedicLab D3 + K2 Bone & Heart Support: why other approaches fall short
The usual moves, and the half of the job none of them covers.
The usual move Where it falls short D3 + K2 Bone & Heart Support
Vitamin D on its own Supports calcium absorption, but leaves the K2 side of the job to whatever is on your plate. D3 and K2 together, in one capsule
Calcium pills Calcium in, often with nothing to help direct it. Most of your calcium is better coming from food. A modest 210 mg alongside D3 and K2, with food doing the rest
More sun Great when you can get it. Through a window, under sunscreen or indoors all winter, your skin makes little vitamin D. Steady intake, whatever the season or the office
A big multivitamin Usually some vitamin D, often no K2 at all, rarely MK-7 by name. MK-7 named on the label, with the amount
Separate D3 and K2 bottles Works, but two bottles, two habits and two things to forget. One capsule, one habit

Why this works

Built for the person who is done guessing

1

It covers both halves of the job

Vitamin D3 helps you absorb calcium. Vitamin K2 activates the proteins that help put it to work in bone and keep it in its lane. One without the other is half a routine.

2

It is honest about the dose

5,000 IU is a strong dose, above the general upper limit for long-term use. We say so on the page and ask you to check your level with your doctor. A brand that hides that is not one to trust with your bones.

3

Every amount is on the label

D3 in IU and mcg, K2 named as MK-7 with its amount, calcium in mg. No blend name, no guessing.

Before and after

Before: another winter of guessing. After: a routine built on your actual number.

The change you are after is not something you feel by Friday. It is knowing what your body is getting, and why.

Guessing in the dark

Four half-finished bottles in the cupboard, a TikTok you half remember, and a blood test you keep meaning to book. Short grey days, long hours at a desk, and no real idea whether any of it is doing what you hoped.

One capsule, one plan

Your vitamin D level checked, your doctor in the loop, and one capsule with breakfast. Not a miracle. A simple, informed habit you can keep all year, and a number you can re-check.

Staged scenario with models, not a customer result.

Proof

What the research shows, and what this bottle is and is not

We would rather show you the line between the research and the bottle than blur it.

MedicLab D3 + K2 Bone & Heart Support: what the research shows
About 23% of people in the US had vitamin D blood levels in the inadequate or deficient range: 18.3% inadequate and 5.0% deficient.Herrick et al., American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2019, NHANES 2011 to 2014, 16,180 people aged 1 and up.
In 244 healthy postmenopausal women, 180 mcg of MK-7 daily for three years slowed the age-related decline in bone mineral density at the lumbar spine and femoral neck versus placebo.Knapen et al., Osteoporosis International, 2013.
In the same trial, there was no significant benefit at the total hip.We are telling you the part that did not move, because you will find it anyway.
In 244 healthy postmenopausal women, 180 mcg of MK-7 daily for three years lowered inactive MGP by about half and improved measures of arterial stiffness versus placebo, most clearly in women who started with stiffer arteries. Markers of inflammation did not change.Knapen et al., Thrombosis and Haemostasis, 2015.
Those trials used 180 mcg of MK-7 on its own. This capsule has 100 mcg alongside vitamin D3 and calcium, and we have not tested whether it matches those results. We are describing the ingredient's research, not promising the same result.
The adult upper limit for vitamin D is 4,000 IU a day from all sources; this capsule has 5,000 IU.NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. Know your level and ask your doctor before you start.
  • Manufactured in the USA
  • Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol
  • Vitamin K2 as MK-7
  • Every amount on the label
  • No proprietary blend

The figures above describe vitamin D status in the US population and published trials of vitamin K2 on its own, not this formula. No trial of this formula has been run, and we will not imply otherwise. Vitamin D3 and K2 support calcium absorption, normal bone health and cardiovascular health; this product does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

What to expect, week by week

What changes, and when

Vitamins D and K2 are nutrients, not stimulants, so day one is quiet by design. Here is the honest schedule.

MedicLab D3 + K2 Bone & Heart Support: what to expect week by week

Before

  • Winters indoors, vitamin D level unknown
  • Vitamin D with no K2, or nothing at all
  • Four half-finished bottles
  • Guessing based on a trend

On the daily routine

  • A known vitamin D level, with your doctor in the loop
  • D3 and K2 working as a pair
  • One capsule, one habit
  • A number you can re-check
  1. Before you start Know your number Ask your doctor for a 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test, and mention any vitamin D you already take.
  2. Day 1 Nothing dramatic One capsule with a meal. No buzz, no crash, nothing to feel.
  3. Months 2 to 3 Levels shift slowly Blood vitamin D changes over weeks, not days. A sensible point to ask your doctor about re-testing.
  4. Month 3 and beyond The long game Bone is slow tissue, and the K2 trials ran for three years. This is a habit, not a 30-day project.

Individual results vary. Vitamin D3 and K2 support calcium absorption and normal bone health; they are not a replacement for calcium-rich food, movement, or your doctor's advice.

Picture a winter where you know exactly what your body is getting.

Your blood test comes back and you understand the number. Your doctor nods instead of frowning. You take one capsule with breakfast and stop thinking about it. You carry the groceries up the stairs, you take the long walk on a cold, bright Saturday, and you are not guessing anymore. Not a promise about your bones. A routine you chose on purpose, with the facts in front of you.

How to use it

One capsule a day with a meal. That is the entire protocol.

  1. Check your level firstAsk your doctor for a vitamin D blood test before you start, and about re-testing after a few months.
  2. Take one capsule dailyWith a meal that has a little fat in it, such as breakfast or lunch. Never more than one a day.
  3. Count all your vitamin DMultivitamins, other D3 products and fortified drinks add up. If you already take vitamin D, ask your doctor before adding this.
  4. Blood thinners: ask firstIf you take warfarin or another vitamin K antagonist, do not take this without your doctor. Vitamin K changes how those medicines work.
  5. Keep the basicsCalcium-rich food, regular walking and strength work. This works alongside them, not instead.

Do not exceed one capsule a day. Each capsule provides 5,000 IU of vitamin D3, above the 4,000 IU adult upper limit, so use it with a known vitamin D level and your doctor's advice. Do not take with warfarin or other vitamin K antagonist blood thinners unless your doctor approves. Not for anyone pregnant, nursing or under 18. If you have kidney disease, a history of kidney stones or high blood calcium, take a thiazide diuretic, or take any prescription medication, speak to your physician before starting this or any dietary supplement.

What you might be thinking

The things people think before they order

Answered plainly, in the order people usually think them.

Isn't 5,000 IU too much?

It is a strong dose, and we will not pretend otherwise. It is above the 4,000 IU a day upper limit for adults. That is why our directions are one capsule a day, and why we ask you to check your vitamin D level and talk to your doctor first, especially if you already take vitamin D elsewhere.

Do I really need K2 with my D3?

Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium. Vitamin K2 activates the proteins that help direct it into bone. K2 is found mainly in fermented foods like natto and in some cheeses, which many people rarely eat. Pairing them is simple and sensible.

I take a blood thinner.

If it is warfarin or another vitamin K antagonist, do not take this without your doctor. Vitamin K directly affects how those medicines work. If you take a different blood thinner, still ask your doctor or pharmacist first.

I already take calcium.

Each capsule has 210 mg of calcium. Add it to what you already take, and ask your doctor whether you need a separate calcium supplement at all. Food is the best place to get most of your calcium.

Will I feel anything?

Probably not, and that is the honest answer. This is not a stimulant. The way to judge it is a blood test before and after, with your doctor, not how you feel on Tuesday.

Why not just get more sun?

If you can, do. But your skin does not make vitamin D through a window, sunscreen (which you should still wear) reduces it, and older skin makes less. A daily capsule is a simple way to cover the gap your doctor finds.

Questions

What people ask before they order

Do I need a prescription?

No. This is a dietary supplement. You order it like anything else and it ships to your door in plain packaging.

What is in each capsule?

125 mcg (5,000 IU) of vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol, 100 mcg of vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7, 210 mg of calcium as calcium carbonate and 5 mg of black pepper fruit extract (BioPerine).

When should I take it?

Once a day with a meal that has a little fat in it, since vitamins D and K are fat-soluble. Breakfast or lunch is easiest to remember.

Why only one capsule a day?

Because one capsule is already 5,000 IU. Two would be 10,000 IU a day, well above the adult upper limit. One a day is our direction; do not take more unless your doctor tells you to. If you take a multivitamin or another vitamin D product, add up the total and ask your doctor.

Should I get my vitamin D level checked?

Yes. Ask your doctor for a 25-hydroxy vitamin D test. The NIH notes that 20 ng/mL or above is generally considered adequate for most people, and that levels above 50 ng/mL have been linked to potential adverse effects. Your doctor can tell you what is right for you.

How long does a bottle last?

60 days, at one capsule a day.

How does the subscription work?

One bottle every 60 days at $28 instead of $35, charged when each bottle ships. At one capsule a day a bottle lasts 60 days, so 60 days is the default; choose 30 or 45 days instead if two people share a bottle. Pause, skip or cancel from your account whenever you like. The 60-day guarantee covers your first order either way.

Does it interact with anything?

Vitamin K affects warfarin and other vitamin K antagonist blood thinners: do not take this with them unless your doctor approves. Vitamin D can interact with thiazide diuretics, steroids such as prednisone, some statins and the weight-loss medicine orlistat. If you take any prescription medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.

Is it third-party tested?

We do not currently publish a third-party certificate of analysis, and we are not going to claim one we cannot show you. It is manufactured in the USA and every amount is printed on the label.

Who should not take this?

Anyone pregnant, nursing or under 18; anyone on warfarin or another vitamin K antagonist without their doctor's approval; anyone with kidney disease, a history of kidney stones or high blood calcium; and anyone managing a medical condition or taking prescription medication without speaking to their doctor first.
